Stellar, contemporized version of the memorable tale of jury haggling on a stuffy afternoon in N.Y.C., with a bunch of cranky men. New to this version are the defendant (who is Latino), a female judge (Mary McDonnell, in a cameo), and a more ethnically diverse jury. Reginald Rose revised his own teleplay and movie script. Made for cable.
