A couple traveling in a foreign country encounters problems and complications in their relationship. Largely unknown, all but forgotten Dassin film made in Spain is typical of similarly pretentious and mostly incoherent '60s fare. Mercouri is watchable as always; her scenes with Schneider pop off the screen. Scripted by Dassin and Marguerite Duras, from her novel.
